About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London-Shanghai-London qualifies for 72-hour Visa-free Transit?

Hi! I need to fly from the UK to Shanghai for a business meeting which will last a couple of hours, and then back to the UK. I intend to stay in Shanghai for less than 72 hours. Do I qualify for a 72-hour freeTransit even though I fly from and to the same country? Your advise will be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Mark
