About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Zurich-Hong Kong-Tokyo- Beijing- Zurich - 72 hour Visa

Does this itinerary qualify for the 72 hour free transit? Zurich-Hong Kong- Tokyo- Beijing- Zurich. Is it okay that the last destination in Asia is Beijing and then returning to country of origin? I am traveling with a US passport. Thanks.

As long as you enter Beijing from Tokyo and exit Beijing to anywhere but Tokyo, then you qualify for the 72-hour free transit.
