i am planning a 1 night stay in hangzhou before leaving to shanghai the next evening.

Question

Can I know where to stay for a nite and what is recommended during cold winter in HZ ? I only know about the West Lake nite musical fountain. I also have plan to hike up the hill to watch the sunrise

Well, the best place to stay is the lakeside. I recommend Zhongshan International Hotel to you. It is located in no. 15, Pinghai Road, Shangcheng District. Maybe you will have a chance to view the beautiful night view of West Lake in the hotel.
