About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am a Chinese Adoptee and apparently I need my old Chinese documents??

I am a Chinese adoptee currently traveling around different countries on a tourist visa (Currently I'm in Seoul) and I would like to apply for a Chinese L type. Apparently since I was born in China I need my old Chinese documents such as my original Chinese passport which I don't have...nor does it exist. Is it completely impossible for me to visit my birthplace???!!

Annie, you needn't provide Chinese passport because you don't have. However, you can't apply for the L type in South Korea because applicants who apply there must provide their ARC cards. I think you may fly to Japan to apply for a L type.
