About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

As a UK citizen, can I get entry to China if I travel by ship or train?

Hi, I am planning on taking a ferry from Incheon (S Korea) to Tanggu (China) and then (a month or so later) taking a train from Nanning to Hanoi, Vietnam. As neither of these are flights, can I still get a visa through normal methods or as a UK citizen can I only get a chinese entry when i fly in and out again?

I have my whole itinerary planned and will need a double entry type.

Thanks,
Sam

It is OK for you to get the entry permit through normal methods, you just need to submit the tickets bookings. But I wonder why you need a double-entry type? It seems that you only need a single-entry based on your itinerary.
