About:Hong Kong MTR Maps

traveling from Hong Kong to Guangzhou

I intend to travel by the fast train to Guangzhou. Should I book the train tickets in advance? How do you recommend to do it? I arrive to HKG on Jan 14th, and go to Guangzhou on Jan 18th in the morning. Thanks/
