15 hour layover in shanghai pudong airport

Question

I have a 15 hour layover. I arrive very early in morning 6am and leave late at night 11pm. Are there any passenger areas/faculties to spend this time.

Yes, apart from seating in the waiting hall or spending time in a restaurant or cafe, hourly lounges are available in the airport or you can just apply for a stay permit upon landing and walk out of the airport to stay in Dazhong Airport Hotel, which is only several minutes' walking distance from the terminal building.

Yes, I managed to check into a hotel at the airport for 15 hours. The hotel is very easy to find. They have good signs in English that direct you right to it.I just rocked up and checked in.
