About:Visa Policy of China

Australian citizen travelling to Hong Kong for volunteer work. Am i required to obtain a visa?

I am an Australian citizen travelling to Hong Kong for four weeks on a unpaid internship.

Hey, I am afraid that you need to apply one. According to HK Immigration Department, you enjoy 90 day free access if you go there for a holiday or transit. However, you are not allowed to take any job no matter you are paid or not. You may call them at (852) 2824 6111 to confirm this.
