the visa catogery for my husband

Dear Sir/ Madam,I am PhD student in China University and I have send via university administraion to get the visa for my husband during my stay in China. So could you please kindly let me know what type he has to apply and what form he has to fill...Thanking you

He should apply for an S1 type if he wants to stay for a long time. FYI, he has to fill the 2013 Application Form of PRC which you can find on this website and submit relevant materials required by the embassy in Sri Lanka, such as his passport, recent photos, and invitation letter from you, photocopy of your passport and residence permit, and original and photocopy of your mariage certificate. Notice that the form must be completed and printed, hand-written and incomplete forms are not accepted.
