i want to go nanchang from beijing or shanghai by train. which way is shorter by fast train and fare

The way from Shanghai to NC is much shorter than the other.
There are many high speed trains from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to NC West Railway Station. And it will take around 4 hours on the way. The ticket fare of the first class seat is CNY560.5 and the second class seat is CNY336.5.
