About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I secure a 72 hour transit in Kunming or will the 72 hour visa be for Beijing?

I'm a US passport holder and need to fly to Kunimng. If there is a flight that flies from the US to PEK (Beijing) w/ 2 hour layover and then to Kunming.

Sam, you are not eligible for 72 hours free transit if your flight stops in Beijing and Kunming.
