About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Canada - Beijing - South Korea - Shanghai - Canada

Do I qualify for 72 hrs. transit visa for the both, Beijing & Shanghai?

My laying over time is less than 72 hrs. for Beijing: arrival 16:00 on Mar 15, departure 12:30 on Mar 18,
more than 72hrs. for Shanghai: arrival 11:20 on April 2, departure 18:50 on April 5 from the flight arrival time.
I have a Canadian passport.

You are qualified for the 72-hour free transit in both Beijing and Shanghai. You are reminded to inform the airline when you board the flight from South Korea to Shanghai, but it is not necessary when you take a flight from Canada to Beijing.
