if already in china can i go to hk to change my visa?

Hello,I have been studying in China with X-1 this year. I just got a job for next year, full time. To get the Z, can I go to HK and apply there or do I need to go back to the UK (my home country) to do it? I know people were able to go to HK very recently, but I think the law might have changed recently and am having a lot of trouble finding any information about this situation. Thank you,Joe

Hi, you may have UK passport, right?If so, you may try to apply a Work Z in HK through a local tour agency. It is still possible to do so, so please do not worry.
