About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Bangladeshi citizen - layover in China

Hello. I am a Bangladeshi citizen flying to Bangladesh from Canada via China. During my layover, would I require a visa if I were to exit the airport?

How long is your transfering time?
If it is less than four hours, you do not need it to exit the airport. You just need to apply for a stay permit at the airport to leave the airport.
If it is over 24 hours, you need to apply for a Transit G in advance for your transfering.
