About:Hong Kong Visa Application

I am an American citizen, is it possible for me to apply for a Chinese mainland visa from HK?

I have family that I want to visit but is it easier to apply for a tourist L type or a family visit type?

It may be possible to apply it in HK, since I saw many other people got it. You need to apply through a tour agency in HK.

An ordinary L is much easier to get in HK than a family visit type.
