About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai transit: Entering via Hongqiao and leaving from Pudong

I am arriving from Hanoi into Shanghai Hongqiao and leaving to Frankfurt the day after via Shanghai Pudong. I am staying overnight at a friend's place in Shanghai. Am I applicable for the 72h-visa-free transit?
