About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover in a different Chinese city

If I have a flight into Beijing, from Korea and a flight out of Beijing, to the Philippines, within 72 hours; but I have a short layover in a different Chinese city, am I ineligible for the visa? The layover is less than 5 hours between Beijing and the Philippines. Thanks.

You mean your flight from Beijing to Philippine will have a stop over in another Chinese city?
If so, you are unable to enjoy the 72-hour free transit policy, since this policy is only available for making transfer in one airport.

How long will the total transfering time from in China, from the flight from Korea landing in China to the flight flying out of China to Philppine? If it is less than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24-hour free transit policy, otherwise, you need to apply for Transit G in advance.
