About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can you do the 72-hour free transit more than once?

First flight New York to Shanghai - stay for 72 hours then Shanghai to Hong Kong stay for 3 days then Hong Kong to Taipei for 2 days then Taipei to Shanghai then Shanghai to New York? or at the end Shanghai to Hong Kong then Hong Kong to New York?
