Cruise Shanghai to HK with staying at Shanghai for 6 hours, so visa required?

I shall be on a cruise ship which calls at Shanghai for 6 hours on route to Hong Kong next 12 March. Could you please advise if it will be required and if so, what will the cost be. Thanking you in anticipation.
Regards,

Gerard Carter

Since you only stay for 6 hours, you do not need to apply that. You can enjoy the 24-hour free transit policy in Shanghai. If you want to leave the cruise to visit the city, you can only apply for a stay permit to leave the Port, otherwise, no documents are required.
