About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Can I dispute an interview for an S1 visa?

My husband is working in China and I am trying to join him with our 2 children. The Chinese embassy in DC is requiring a face-to-face interview with me to grant my and my two children's S1. I live 12+ hours from the embassy and have an infant. Is there any way I can get out of this interview?

Hi, Joyful. If the embassy asks you to have an interview, you need to go to attend it, otherwise, you will be rejected to get a S1. The embassy has the right to ask fo interview and you cannot get out of it.
