Can I arrive on an X2 to learn Chinese and transfer to X1 after getting admission from university

In general, you cannot change your X2 to X1. You can change X2 into a resident permit if the school allows.
It is suggested to consult the school which will enroll you. They will help you to suitable visa for your studying in China.
