transit for hong kong

Hey we are flying from new Zealand to Vietnam and will have a stop over in Hong Kong for about 9 hours. Can we just leave the airport and have a look at the sights?
Cheers

Please do not worry. You can leave the airport.

Which country's passport do you have? If you have a Britain passport, you will enjoy a 180-day free enty and it is around 90-day free entry for German passport.
