About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

one entry visa - return to china

Hi, Im in Shanghai with a student, single entry type. I want to visit Hong Kong before I leave so my plan is to go to HK (finish my current visa) and then come back to SH for a day to pick up my belongings and take my flight back to Spain. Am I eligible for the transit type even if I was on another type just before? Thank you!

Ofelia, your itinerary (HK-Shanghai-Spain) meets the requirements for 72 hours free transit. I think you can do that if you have valid Spanish passport and air tickets from HK to Shanghai and Shanghai to Spain within 72 hours.
