About:Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Shuttle Bus

Do I need a visa to get from Hongqiao airport (SHA) to Pudong airport (PVG)?

The subject says it all.
I have a flight that requires me to layover in Shanghai for 18 hours. However, I have to switch airports. I fly into HQ and depart from Pudong airport 18 hours later. I don't wanna have to apply for and pay for a tourist visa ... I booked my ticket because it was the best price by far, however if I have to spend $150 on a visa, then the flight I booked isn't really worth it. I'd just cancel my flgiht connecting through China, and connect through Tokyo instead because that flight was approximately $200 more than the one I currently have booked.

Am not flying til December, so lots of time to think about this.

No, you don't need a visa. Upon getting to SHA, you can easily apply for a stay permit, with which you are allowed to leave the airport to head for PVG.
