About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Going from T1 to T2 behind passport control (Shanghai pudong is 1st leg of the trip)

Hi,

My friend will depart from T1 and i will depart from T2 (3 to 4 hours later)
Is it possible to wave off my friend at T1 and then go to T2?
and how many hours before the flight can i go behind passport control?

It is possible to wave off your friends and then go to T2 for your flight.
You need to reach T2 for your flight at least around two hours in advance before your departure time for checking the luggage check-in and passport checking.
