About:How to Travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen

Fastest border control

Is there a preference in terms of choosing one of the options above (or perhaps time of day) if I wish to avoid long border controls queues? I have a Chinese visa and I do not need a visa for HK.

Futian Port is less crowded. You can take HK MTR to Lok Ma Chau Station and go through the checks at Futian Port. Trains are also convenient because you will go through the checks of both HK and Mainland China at West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station, then enter Shenzhen directly.
