About:Hong Kong to Shenzhen High Speed Trains

Border control

Hi! I'm from Finland. I'm travelling by flight to Hong Kong, and I'll continue my journey by high speed train to Shenzhen. How are arranged the passport checking and border control formalities between Hong Kong and Shenzhen? Are they in Hong Kong before the train leaves, or in Shenzhen when arriving, or somewhere during the train journey? Can I just buy a ticket from Hong Kong to Shenzhen without a need of interruption of the journey for formalities?

You will go through the border checks of both HK and Mainland China in West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station before the train leaves, so there is no interruption during the train journey.
