About:Shanghai Travel

Bangkok to shanghai via Hong Kong. Then back to Bangkok direct?

Hi I am a uk citizen flying from Bangkok to SH via hongkong. Staying in SH for 72 hours and then returning to Bangkok direct. Is this ok to get the 72 hour transit visa?

I'm afraid not. To use this policy, your departing place and destination should be different! Therefore, you may need a visa for your 72h's stay!
