transit through guangzhou from taipei to amsterdam

hello i am flying on the 3rd of july to amsterdam from taipei and will be transiting through Guangzhou my stop off is for 6 hours can i leave the airport during that time without any additional paperwork other than my passport and plane ticket  thanks sam im form the uk

Hi, you enjoy free transit in Guangzhou for such a short stopover. But you need to get a free stay permit at the airport if you want to go out of the airport. Don't worry, the permit is easy to get showing your passport and flight ticket for leaving.
