Type Z working VISA for China for an Australia citizen

Hi Everyone,

I REALLY need some help, any advice would be greatly appreciated! I am currently living in China and I need to get a new Type Z. My invitation letter from China, medical check and passport (all required documents) are in Australia and ready to be processed at the embassy that my brother will do on my behalf.

Although, I have been notified that I cannot go through with this procedure as I apparently need to be physically in Australia at the time of the processing. Has anyone else been in this situation before or know of a way around this?

Kind Regards,
Kira.

Yes, because there is no exit stamp in your passport if you do not leave China.
