About:How to Apply a China Visa in Hong Kong

What type of visa would you suggest for the following case

Canadian passport holder wishes to visit family village in Guangzhou and Shenzhen for few days and also visit Macau. Which type of visit do you recommend?

I think a Tourist Visa is OK, with which you can travel freely in most parts of Mainland China as a tourist for up to 30 days. You are not required a visa to enter Macau.

Or you can travel to Guangzhou and Shenzhen from HK by ferry, and then transfer to Macau. In this way, you can enter Mainland China without a visa under the 240h visa free policy. But you can stay in Mainland China for 10 days at most.
