Transporting Personal Stuff from Wuhan to Nanjing by Train

Hello. I need to relocate for a year from Wuhan, Hubei province to Nanjing City. I want to send all my boxes with personal items by a slow train ahead of me.
1. a) How much does it cost (per kg/lb)? b) Is there a limit on the number of boxes?
2. Where do I go to do it?
3. How long will it take to safely deliver the boxes?
4. Are there any specific rules; where to put the address on the box, does each box need to be wrapped, etc.?

Maya, the cost is calculated based on the weight and distance from Wuhan to Nanjing. When you bring your items to the railway station, they weigh them and calculate how much you should pay. There is no limit on how many boxes you use. However, they charge wrapping fee and sell boxes to you if you don't have boxes.

It's hard to tell how long it takes to deliver your packages to you because it depends on you. If you choose ordinary express service, your items will be delivered to you in 4 days. There is another service. You can choose to receive next day or the day after tomorrow.
