flight from bangkok to guangzhou

Is there MSC cruise in China around June, I am coming ‎end of June. We will love to take a one night cruise. I also want to find out from Bangkok is there any flight to Guangzhou or do we need to connect in Hong Kong? We didn't book hotel we thought that we will get accommodation when we get there, roughly how much are the rates for hotels per night?

Does Thailand Bangkok and Phuket need visas? I check that. Hong Kong has 72 hours visa free, i will ‎from Bangkok to Hong Kong and travel with taxi to  Guanzhou does 72 hours visa free also applies if I'm just passing at Hong Kong? I will spend a night at Hong Kong before I go to Guangzhou. Will spend a 5 days in Guanzhou and return to Hong Kong and fly back to South Africa the same day, do i have to apply for visa bcs my 72 days will start counting when I spend one day there or the counting will continue when I return to Hong Kong?

Thailand requires visas to people from some countries, so you need to check with the Thai Embassy in your country to make sure whether you need a visa or not. Hong Kong has visa-free policy to visitors from some countries, so you'd better check it. or please tell me where are you from, and i can check it for you.
