About:Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia

need to apply for visa?

Good afternoon,i would like to ask if I need to apply for that, I'm working in riyadh Saudi arabia,and planning to have vacation in Hong Kong but saudia airlines doesn't have direct flight, what it has is riyadh to guanzhou china,then when we arrive at guanzhou airport we will travel to Hong Kong, hope for your immediate response.thank you

If you use airplane travel for the whole trip to HK and the transit duration is within 72h, no visa is needed, because you will be qualified for the 72h free-visa policy.

Thank you , but one more thing mam,upon arrival at Guangzhou we will go to the train station to hongkong still no visa needed?even we will go outside the airport to go to the train station?

The above reply is not correct, because you have not mentioned your nationality in your post. I am thinking the 72 hour free transit is only for people from 51 countries only. Also, this free transit policy does not apply to exit by train. So you have to apply for a Chinese visa in this situation.
