About:Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh

visit visa for Australian citizen from Bangladesh

dear,
I am an Australian citizen visiting families in Bangladesh. my nephew in china for scholarship In Three gorge University, at Hubei, Yichang.so on my way back to Australia I like to visit him for a day or 2.do I need visa or I can get one on arrival. I have Australian passport. if I need one can I get it from Dhaka in 24 to 48 hours.

please let me know. if their anything else I need.

Yes, you can apply for that at the Chinese embassy in Dhaka, but as I know, the process duration usually takes four workdays. You may hardly get it in 24-48h. Though, you can consult the exact info on the spot!

If it can work, you also need:
1. One truthfully completed Application Form with a recent color photo;
2. An invitation letter issued by your nephew to prove that he studies in China;
3. A photocopy of ur nephew's passport and residence permit.
Sometimes, you may also need to present a proof to show the relationship with your nephew.
