About:Hong Kong International Airport Transfer

Hong Kong airport to macau

I wish to travel from Taipei to Macau transit HK Airport (with check in luggages)
May I know how do I go about it ?
I was told that if I have check-in luggages then I must come out from HK Airport and go to one of the Ferry terminals to take a boat to Macau instead of taking a ferry from HKIA directly to Macau.
Kindly advise me. Thank you.

No, it is not ture. During your transit at HKIA, you don't need to go through the immigration. Just go to the ferry ticket office/counter to show your check-in luggage receipt/tag and buy a ticket. Then the staff will help to handle your luggage. After boarding the ferry, you can check the status of your lugagge, which should have been on the ferry!
