I have a valid visa but my passport expires in 5 months - can i enter China?

Hi, I have a valid double entry one with one visit left (enter before 29 July 2014, maximum stay 30 days).

It was issued in January when my passport had 10 months left.

I'm now planning to travel to China from 7-15 May, and my passport will expire in 6 November 2014, so i would enter just within the 6 month period before the passport expires.

Will I be able to enter PRC without problems?

many thanks for your advice

Yes, your passport is ok for this visit. 6 month validity is only required when you apply for it.

I am afraid you have to renew your passport first. You can also confirm this with the carrier airline if possible.
