Hi, I'm planning to visit the Detian waterfall in mid May. My train to NN would arrive 6.17 in the morning and there are several options for the train to Guilin in the evening (17:35, 20:50, 22:30). I was wondering how long it would take to get to the waterfall and back? And how much time would be sufficient to fully enjoy it? How reliable are the buses and is there any way I could check the bus timetables from the Waterfall back to NN? Do you think it is possible to take the 20.50 train? Thanks!

Upon arrival at NN Railway Station, you are advised to take a taxi to local Langdong Long-distance Bus to catch the direct bus to the waterfall and the bus leaves at 08:30 to get there within around 3.5h. I remember the bus gets back from the waterfall around 15:00. If you mis the bus, take a bus to Daxin county first, where there are direct bus back to NN. Whichever way you use, you would be able to catch your train at 20:50.Generally, at least 2-3 hours are needed to enjoy the scenic spot!
