About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I need a Visa for entering China in the summer

So my study abroad group is getting all of their passports and airline tickets together to bring a representative to Chicago consulate, but I am not quite ready to do it yet. Can I have to give someone my application, photo, passport, and all the other things? Or do I need to come in myself?

You can either in person or apply through a travel agency entrusted.
