About:Exhibition of Decorations and Artwork

I am an Australian citizen visiting Shanghai for 12 hours. I visa needed?

I will be on a cruise ship. Does it make any difference whether I stay on the ship or get off?

Do you mean that you will arrive in SH city by international cruise? Well then, there is no difference between staying onboard and getting off, because you don't need a visa during the 12h with your cruise ticket!
