driving lisence

Question

i am staying in china now for one year. And my plan is to stay another year. I have valid Z visa till march 2015, i have valid driving license from my country.  Can i apply for temporary driving licence in Beijing Capital Airport. If yes what is the maximum valid of the driving license. My friend told me i can apply only when i arrive whit International flight in china.

Your friend is probably right. As I know, they only offer temporary driving lisence for foreign tourists who are going to stay in China for no more than 3 months.
