About:China Visa on Arrival

I'm in Shenzhen with M Visa now, want to apply for Working/residence permit

I got a job offer and I would like to know if there is any company that can support me on the process for Z application. Also would like to know if can stay in China or I need to go back to my country ( Switzerland ) to make a Z?I wish to stay here, my current M will expire the 10th May 2014. Thank you!

Hi, you need to go back for work Z application. Converting from M to Z is not allowed within China.

An extension is possible, but you need help from the host company. The duration of stay issued is considered by the officers actually according to your supporting documents.
