About:China Family Reunion Visa

Transfer working residence permit to Q1

Hi, I'm currently holding working residence permit and will be expired in October. I'm planning to get Q1 Visa in China. Do I need to cancel my current visa first before getting Q1 or I can just transfer to Q1 visa directly without getting out of China.

When in Mainland China you will get the family-based residence permit directly without getting a Q1 visa (which is only issued outside Mainland China for the getting a family-based residence permit). EEAs in different places have different requirements so the easiest way to find out is by contacting them.
