Can I switch from a working residence permit to a study residence permit?
I am currently working in Shanghai and want to put in a month's notice at my job. I want to start studying chinese in a summer program that starts in july, then continue with a year at the university. Any suggestions on the process of staying in Shanghai and switching the residence permits and the timeline of when I'd be issued the release letter from my employer?
