nanjing day trip from shanghai, route?

Hi, i would like to have a day trip from shanghai to nanjing with high speed ?can u suggest an itinerary for us ? just want to have a look at nearby town ?thank you

Most of the high speed trains from Shanghai to NJ are from SH Railway Station, so it is suggested to take the subway line 1 to reach that railway station directly. For sightseeing, the Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the Xuyuan Garden and the Confucius Temple area are suggested to have a look.
