About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is this route suitable for a 10-day visa-free entry?

Phuket (Thailand)– Guangzhou – Zhangjiajie – Shenzhen – Hong Kong

Yes, it definitely is. You should just take care to book your exit ticket (Shenzhen to Hong Kong segment) in advance because you will have to present it in both Phuket (at the moment of your check-in) and in Guangzhou (upon landing in China). It can be a ferry or even better a train ticket from Shenzhen to Hong Kong West Kowloon station.

Also, since you are from Thailand and if you are a citizen of Thailand, I would like to inform you that the citizens of Thailand can enter China visa free for up to 30 days, so they do not have to bother with 240 hour visa free transit scheme. In reality, 240 hour visa free transit scheme does not apply to the citizens of Thailand since they can enter China visa free. Have a nice visit to China.
