About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam
Can British visit Hanoi and obtain a tourist visa for China? 90 days? I have invitation letter

Hi, it is advised to contact the embassy directly. As I know, you need to provide valid Visa or residence permit in Vietnam if you apply there, and the invitation letter should be addressed to the Hanoi Office.1
