About:China Tourist Visa

Tourist visa for Australian citizen

I am an Australian citizen who will be in Germany between early April and late June and was planning on visiting China in early July for a couple of weeks. Is it possible to perhaps obtain it in Germany?

If I get it in Australia in late March before I go to Germany the 3mth validity to use it would have expired...

Thanks.

I am afraid not, as I know, the embassy there only issue visas to residents. You can try to confirm this with CVASC in Germany now, or for the latest requriements.

Ok thanks for letting me know this.

I've heard also that if I fly into Hong Kong I can obtain a visa there for the rest of China usually granted within 24hrs.
