About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Family to Work Visa?

Hi

I am a British citizen living in Chongqing with my wife (Chinese Citizen) and new baby daughter. I have a 2 year residence permit (family reunion) issued in Chongqing. I am about to be hired by a UK company who wish me to conduct business affairs for them in China yet they do not have an office here. How can I obtain a visa that allows me to conduct business and still live here without having to leave the country regularly?

Hi, if you were hired by a UK Company, and they do not have an office in China, then it is unnecessary and impossible to get the work permit for Z application. To my understanding, you can conduct business affairs on your current residence permit.
