About:Ferry of Shekou Port, Shenzhen

Can I take shekou ferry to HK airport without checking in my luggage and check in at HK internationa

I am flying from HK to Malaysia on air asia airlines and want to know if I can take the shekou to HK international ferry? If they cannot check in my luggage can I still take the ferry and check in at HK?
